GSN Tiling was proud to be part of the transformation of The Mercantile Hotel, one of Sydney’s oldest and most iconic pubs. Located in the heart of The Rocks, this heritage hospitality project involved tiling works across the ensuites, rooftop bar, rooftop bathrooms, and commercial kitchens, helping bring new life to a landmark venue while preserving its historic character.
Scope & Execution:
Working within one of Sydney’s busiest heritage precincts presented several unique challenges, including restricted site access, limited on-site storage, and delays with imported materials. Through careful planning, close collaboration with the Fugen Constructions team, and a flexible approach to project delivery, GSN Tiling successfully navigated these complexities while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship. The completed project seamlessly blends heritage charm with premium finishes, delivering a timeless hospitality venue built to serve generations to come.
